I have always loved sock monkeys and I am now nearly retirement age.  I have asked for sock monkeys for gifts and I have given them as gifts.  I have never made one, but was so excited to hear about this workshop!  It is a complete mystery to me as to why they are so beloved.  They are cute, if not adorable.  They incorporate a piece of ourselves in them (the socks).  They are whimsical.  They are soft.  They can be thrown around without damage!  They are floppy.  They seem like someone that you can always trust to be your friend! – Lisbeth

Suzanne suggested during last Sunday’s chat that we should have a sock monkey swap– wouldn’t that be wonderful? – Gretchen
