On AUGUST 25, 2010 OPERATION SOCK MONKEY WESTERN DIVISION was honored to connect with Intersections Media in creating a window display with 100+ monkeys made by community members and youth. The display is at District 319/Intersections (319 Main Street) in Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside. The result is magical!

As a start to the proposed INTERGENERATIONAL sock monkey making project, 5 OSM sock monkeys are spreading the word at EVERGREEN HOUSE residential care centre in North Vancouver, BC! We are hoping to mix youth with seniors to make new sock monkeys for our continued expansion of OSM!
